In my dream I woke up and went to the bathroom and was splashing water on my face and saw on my forehead a piece of skin that looked like it was peeling so I picked it off and there was an eyeball under it that was like golden colored and it started looking around like crazy and then dream me woke up and I went to the bathroom again and looked in the mirror and there was no eyeball so I splashed water on my face again and looked in the mirror as I pushed the water from my fave to my hair and the moment I touched my hair it turned into live snakes and would move and twist and follow my hands and then would freeze
Dreams like the one you described can be rich in symbolism and may reflect various aspects of your subconscious. Here’s a potential interpretation of some of the elements in your dream:
Bathroom and Water: Bathrooms often represent a place of purification or reflection. Splashing water on your face can symbolize a desire for clarity or a need to wake up to certain truths in your life. Water, particularly when splashed, also connects to emotions and the act of cleansing.
Peeling Skin: This could signify a transformation or a shedding of old identities, a desire to reveal deeper aspects of yourself, or a confrontation with underlying issues. Peeling can symbolize vulnerability or discomfort with your appearance or self-image.
Golden Eyeball: An eyeball represents perception, awareness, and insight. The fact that it was golden can suggest valuable insights or thoughts that you might be ignoring or have just become aware of. The erratic movement of the eyeball might represent confusion or chaos in your perception of a situation or aspect of your life.
Reappearing in the Mirror: The transition from dream to waking can signify the fluidity of thoughts and beliefs. Not finding the eyeball upon waking might imply an ephemeral understanding or a realization that felt significant but has since lost its clarity upon waking.
Snakes in Hair: Snakes are often associated with transformation, healing, and renewal (considering their ability to shed skin). However, they can also symbolize fears or anxiety. Snakes moving and twisting with your hands suggest that these feelings may be following you closely and could represent something in your life that feels both dynamic and potentially threatening.
In summary, this dream might reflect themes of self-exploration, transformation, and the complexities of your emotions or perceptions of yourself. It often hints at a deeper complexity and perhaps an urge to confront parts of yourself that you may not be fully aware of or are in conflict with. You may wish to consider areas in your waking life where you feel a need for change, clarity, or confrontation with fears and anxieties.
